Pray for modern day martyrs!

The Lord has recently opened my eyes to the fact that all over the world Christians are being persecuted for their faith in Christ. I'm adding www.persecution.com (Voice of the Martyrs) to my favorites websites (see below) and will be praying more diligently for persecuted Christians.

Please share if you know of any other resources to share on how to pray for those who are suffering, even to the point of death in many cases, in the name of Christ.

Here are two examples I've come across ...

North Korean Evangelist Faces Death for His Faith
Son Jong Nam awaits public execution because of his faith. For more than a year, the former North Korean Army officer who became an underground evangelist has been beaten and tortured.

Final Testament of Mehdi Dibaj
After spending nine years in an Iranian prison on the charge of apostasy, he was eventually tried before the Islamic courts in December 1993 where he gave this courageous defence.
Due to pressure though from human rights groups, Mehdi Dibaj was released in January 1994. His freedom was short-lived. On June 24th he was returning from a retreat to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. He never arrived for the party and on July 5th the authorities found his murdered body.
